Nationally available “Celebrate SHE” limited-edition bars have been released ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8. The bars are meant to highlight “the “SHE” at the center of the iconic milk chocolate bar.” The campaign was launched as part of Women’s History Month celebrations last month.These limited-edition “Celebrate SHE” bars are now available nationwide in limited numbers.
“We are surrounded by women and girls that inspire us every single day. Creating this simple, but powerful and colorful change to our iconic milk chocolate bar serves as a reminder of how important they are in our lives,” said Veronica Villasenor, Vice President of the Hershey Company in a press statement. “So grab a Hershey’s bar, share one and celebrate all women and girls through a simple, and sweet, gesture.”
As part of the campaign the company is partnering with Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization w focused on empowering girls to realize their potential. As part of the partnership, Hershey’s is donating $150,000 to Girls on the Run.
