James Shaw Jr., who stopped the deadly Waffle House shooting last month, got to meet some of the survivors of the Parkland high school shooting this weekend.

The 29-year-old Nashville resident posted a photo of himself in Florida with several students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where 17 people were killed in a Feb. 14 mass shooting.

“Meeting the young adults of the Parkland incident so much fire and inspiration in their eyes was a great joy,” he tweeted Saturday.
