Sacramento, Calif. — A California woman fell 60 feet Tuesday while trying to take a selfie from the state’s highest bridge.

The woman was hospitalized, but is expected to survive. The Foresthill Bridge is located in Placer County, about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento.

The woman was with a group of friends walking along girders beneath the bridge when she tried to take a photo of herself and fell. She landed on a trail about 60 feet below, according to The Sacramento Bee.

At 730 feet above the American River, the bridge is the highest in California and among the tallest in the U.S., according to the Bee.
